Home Forward offers a variety of housing options for low-income individuals and families including rental housing units, public housing units, and Section 8 Rental Assistance Vouchers. The Home Forward Program homes are available to individuals, families, those with disabilities or with special needs, and seniors who meet the income guidelines for each program. Home Forward is a public corporation serving Talladega, Clay, Randolph, Calhoun, and Cleburne Counties. Home Forward works with many communities and organizations in the public, non-profit and private sectors to provide supportive services.
We know that difficulties due to low income, disability or special needs are not limited to finding affordable housing. Some residents are striving to become financially independent of public support; others are interested in education and employment; and others need help with daily activities. Home Forward's services are designed to offer more than just protection but to help residents achieve their goals.
